Well, we have finished our first fundraiser at Stone Lions Farm and what a lovely experience! We learned a lot and it was such a great way to meet people in our community. It was also fun to learn a little bit more about the history of the town and this amazing property that we are on, and just generally connect with the world around us.
To all the people who wandered in and picked up a tree, we offer thanks! We started out with 50 trees and had only 9 left at the end of the holiday season. Those 9 were donated to some very happy goats.
We are happy to say we will be able to move forward with our intention to restore the iconic stone lions that are standing majestically at the front of the property. It looks like that process will begin in the late Spring, early Summer. We will keep you posted!
